National Account Director - Midwest/South Central - Remote

Overview

The National Account Director (NAD) will serve as the primary point of contact for sales and account management activities for assigned managed markets customers (Commercial PBMs, payers and plans, as well as Federal payers) and will lead all contracting efforts.

In Short

  • Serve as primary contact for sales and account management.

  • Develop and execute account business plans.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless results for patients.
  • Monitor account progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Analyze local environment and align company priorities.
  • Provide leadership to internal and external teams.
  • Maintain open communication across the organization.
  • Review and analyze contracted product performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Knowledge of managed care and pharmacy benefit management.
  • Excellent understanding of the US market access environment.
  • Experience in product launches with rare disease experience preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of the contracting function.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and ensure compliance.
  • Account management success balancing customer needs and business goals.
  • Team leadership experience in a cross-functional environment.
