AVER is seeking Latent Print Examiners focused on critical mission support biometric services within DHS. This group delivers and manages all deployed identity services and ensures sustainment of automated capabilities. In Short

• Prepare, search, retrieve, analyze, compare, and evaluate friction ridge images.
• Practical experience in comparing latent prints to known prints.
• Examine digital images for latent print quality.
• Experience with digital forensic principles and tools.
• Review and evaluate identity data in Federal repositories.
• Write technical reports on scientific analysis.
• Provide customer service to law enforcement agencies.
• Provide courtroom testimony and prepare necessary materials.
• Train less skilled fingerprint examiners.
• Perform QA checks on fingerprint examinations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Latent Print Examiner.
• Ability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
