Overview

A Senior Proposal Manager is sought to lead complex federal proposals at AVER, focusing on proposal execution, writing, compliance, and production while managing proposal teams.

In Short

• Lead and manage end-to-end federal proposal efforts from kickoff to final submission.
• Own proposal planning, schedules, and compliance matrices.
• Drive proposal strategy discussions and internal reviews.
• Serve as primary proposal writer and editor.
• Manage and coordinate proposal teams.
• Facilitate color team reviews and check-in reviews.
• Ensure compliance with RFP instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Manage proposal operations including SharePoint sites and document integration.
• Lead proposal interview preparation.
• Coordinate with Proposal Leadership and SMEs throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree required.
• 10+ years of federal proposal management experience.
• Demonstrated success with DoD, DHS, DOJ proposals.
• Exceptional proposal writing and editing skills.
• Deep expertise in proposal compliance and quality control.
• Strong knowledge of Shipley or similar methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with executives and technical leaders.
• Proficiency with proposal tools including SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign) preferred.
