ServiceNow Developer - Remote

Overview

AVER is a fast-growing SDVOSB that has achieved significant revenue growth over the past 5 plus years with much of our work focused on Data Analytics, Mission Support, IT Modernization and Biometrics. AVER is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for the technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation support for ServiceNow projects, enhancements, and fixes to support our Federal Client. The developer will work with members of the Applications team, business users, and external vendors to design, implement, test, and deploy enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes needed to support the enterprise.

In Short

• Support the development and configuration of ServiceNow in various areas including Service Portal, CSM, ITSM, Discovery, Project, Reporting, and SLAs.
• Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document business and technical requirements.
• Participate in and support ServiceNow version upgrades.
• Offer technical solutions to address requirements and evaluate alternate solutions.
• Partner with lead architect on projects, driving the design, creation, testing, and delivery of technical functionality.
• Create technical architecture, design, and user guide documentation.
• Support business growth and proposal teams by writing proposal sections and providing guidance.
• Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products.
• Lead, author, and contribute to IT related, technical processes reviews and continual process improvement.
• Create estimations on the effort required to produce ServiceNow functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other technically relevant degrees.
• 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer or hands-on configuration experience in ServiceNow.
• Expertise with CMDB configuration and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, and familiarity with LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS Integration.
• Proven experience working with the ServiceNow Platform developing/configuring ServiceNow solutions.
• Ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Strong organization and time management skills in a rapid software development environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in implementing scoped applications into client instances.
• Jira/Confluence and Agile practice knowledge strongly preferred.
