Zoning Plans Examiner - Remote

Overview

A Zoning Plans Examiner is responsible for reviewing site plans, landscape plans, building elevations, and construction plans for signs to determine compliance with the zoning ordinance. This role involves communicating with builders and citizens regarding zoning regulations and ensuring a professional attitude while assisting customers.

Requirements

• Associates Degree.
• Two years of experience in building inspection or related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning or related field.
• Preferred: AICP and/or CNU certifications.
• Experience with GIS for data analysis.
• Skills in 3D design software and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
