Senior Accountant - General Ledger - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Accountant – General Ledger position is an advanced level role within the City of Fort Worth's Financial Management Services Department, requiring significant responsibility and expertise in financial accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Three years of increasingly responsible accounting experience.
• Possession of CPA credentials preferred.
• Experience in governmental accounting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Fund Accounting concepts.
• Good understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
