Senior General Ledger Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior General Ledger Accountant is responsible for a wide range of accounting and tax tasks, working autonomously and in consultation with the Accounting Manager.

In Short

• Manage payroll processing through the SD Worx interface.
• Reconcile all payroll accounts and attest payroll costs.
• Prepare tax returns and corporate tax filings.
• Book fixed assets and activate depreciations.
• Maintain depreciation tables.
• Follow up on provisions and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare statutory annual accounts.
• Assist with external audits.
• Monthly consolidated reporting to the group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Experience with accounting software (preferably D365).
• Knowledge of reporting tools.
• Bilingual (Dutch - French) with good knowledge of English.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Analytical insight.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Stress-resistant and able to work with strict deadlines.
