QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

ASSYST is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to support our customer in Austin, TX. This position is 100% remote.

In Short

• Analyze user requirements and design documents to develop detailed test cases.
• Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel Reports.
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Work with development team and customers to define and implement test case automation.
• Execute performance and accessibility testing.
• Perform manual testing and data validation.
• The QA group supports and facilitates the implementation of all apps/projects in the Texas Education Agency.

Requirements

• Experience testing complex Web Applications.
• Knowledge of all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced Database/SQL Language skills.
• Experience with API, JSON, XML.
• Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools.
• Experience testing reports.
• Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST).
• Previous experience with Zephyr Scale preferred.
• Previous experience with JIRA preferred.
