Commodity Manager - Remote

Overview

The Commodity Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement strategy for designated computing technology commodities such as data storage, memory, processing, networking, and related technologies.

• Prepare reports on procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with other departments to align procurement strategies.
• Participate in a sales compensation plan tied to financial goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in commodity purchasing or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of market conditions in relevant commodities.
