Commodity Manager - Remote

Overview

The Commodity Manager is responsible for developing and delivering sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost management of assigned categories while maintaining supply chain continuity for manufacturing sites.

• Implement commodity strategies for procurement in North America, Asia, and other regions.

• Develop plans for supplier performance and cost reduction.
• Assist in new product introductions and project implementations.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Ability to coordinate actions to prevent shortages and excel with suppliers.
• Experience in strategic procurement deployment.
• Knowledge of NPI/NPD projects as a sourcing leader.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience managing spend over $50M in various categories.
• Proven experience in supplier performance and selection.
• Technical expertise in thermoforming and thermosetting plastics.
• Experience with injection molding processes for plastics and rubber.
• Knowledge of insulation materials and fabrication processes.
