Overview

The IT Help Desk Technician provides exceptional customer support and technical assistance to internal teams and clients, ensuring high-quality service and effective troubleshooting.

In Short

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft applications and operating systems.
  • Maintain and update hardware and software for desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Support server hardware and software issues.
  • Log client issues in the ticket management system.
  • Focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate ownership of incoming tickets.
  • Field incoming requests while managing multiple tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
  • Work on-site as required by customer needs.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in a Help Desk environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Apple operating systems.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Exchange and Hypervisor technology.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts like DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies.
  • Certification required within six months of hire.
