Network/System Administrator - Remote

Overview

The Network/System Administrator will provide leadership to internal teams and customer support, ensuring high-quality service and effective troubleshooting of hardware and software.

In Short

• Advanced hardware and software support for servers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
• Knowledge of Hypervisor, VLAN’s, network routing, and Azure VMs.
• Desktop, server, and network infrastructure troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong customer service focus with proven results.
• Ownership of incoming tickets and prompt issue resolution.
• Field incoming requests while managing multiple tasks.
• Log client issues in the ticket management system.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service experience.
• Active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Experience with Windows and/or Apple operating systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (On-Premise and Online).
• Understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
• Experience with firewall and network switch configuration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Server technologies.
• Certification required within six months of hire.
