Overview

The IT Help Desk Technician provides exceptional customer support and technical assistance to internal teams and clients, ensuring high-quality service and effective troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.

In Short

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft applications and operating systems.
  • Support and maintain hardware and software for desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Log client issues in the ticket management system.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills and client satisfaction focus.
  • Field incoming requests while managing multiple tasks.
  • Communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Work on-site as needed for client support.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Complete required certifications within six months of hire.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Apple operating systems.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Server technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to adapt to changing processes and priorities.
  • Experience with ticket management systems.
  • General knowledge of hardware and software support.
  • Ability to work out of the office as needed.
