Overview

The IT Help Desk Technician will provide exceptional customer support and technical assistance to internal teams and clients, demonstrating effective communication and a client-first mindset.

In Short

  • Answer incoming phone calls for technical support.
  • Log client issues in the ticket management system.
  • Support Microsoft business applications and operating systems.
  • Maintain and update hardware and software for desktops and mobile devices.
  • Demonstrate ownership of incoming tickets.
  • Handle time-sensitive issues promptly.
  • Work on multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Must reside within 30 miles of an Applied Tech office.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and customer service experience.
  • Active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Apple operating systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange and Server technologies preferred.
