Overview

This role requires an exceptional sales leader to drive new sales strategies and build a high-performance team focused on acquiring new customers for Blackboard's LMS and Point Solutions in North America.

In Short

  • Establish scalable processes for prospecting and opportunity development.
  • Achieve new sales bookings targets and revenue growth objectives.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
  • Develop executive-level relationships with university leadership.
  • Represent Blackboard at industry conferences and public forums.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions from sales to implementation.
  • Coach and mentor enterprise sales leaders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in higher education technology.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience managing enterprise sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in driving new logo growth.
  • Experience leading complex enterprise deals.
  • Strong executive presence and credibility with senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline and drive revenue performance.
  • Strong collaboration skills across product, marketing, and services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
