Overview

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, DEI initiatives, and employee engagement for a growing company.

In Short

  • Responsible for employee lifecycle events including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Lead hiring efforts including creation of job descriptions, candidate sourcing and screening, and the interview process.
  • Manage employee engagement efforts, including employee recognition, virtual and in-person events, employee surveys and data collection.
  • ATS maintenance and administration.
  • Lead company culture initiatives, event planning, and special projects in collaboration with director of human resources.
  • Benefits administration including open enrollment and AMO Family Leave.
  • Staying up to date on HR best practices and regulations, ensuring company adherence to labor laws.
  • Assist with developing and rolling out new company policies.
  • Assist with performance review development and administration.
  • Support process improvement activities within the HR department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, industrial/organizational psychology or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, including full-cycle recruitment.
  • 1+ years of experience with benefit administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, ATS, and Google Forms.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup culture experiencing rapid growth.
