Data Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

As our Data Platform Engineer, you will design, provision, and operate the foundational data infrastructure that powers analytics and reporting across the organization. You’ll own everything from spinning up our cloud data warehouse to building the initial ETL pipelines that bring raw data into shape—laying the groundwork for self-service analytics and data-driven decision making.

• Architect and provision cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift).

Requirements

• 5+ years in software or data engineering.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Strong SQL skills and ETL pipeline development experience.
• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like Airflow.
• Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or Prometheus.
• Understanding of data modeling patterns and best practices.
• Ability to mentor and collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency in Python or Java/Scala for ETL development.
