Overview

As a Java Developer at ALTEN, you will design and develop modern, scalable services and backend components using contemporary development tools.

In Short

• Develop and design modern, scalable services and backend components.
• Implement software applications using Java EE and Spring Boot.
• Connect interfaces to web services (REST/SOAP) and third-party systems.
• Build relational databases (SQL).
• Apply modern development methods like TDD and Continuous Integration (Jenkins).
• Support code reviews and ensure sustainable problem-solving.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT-related qualification.
• Solid knowledge in several of the following technologies: JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, Hibernate, SQL, REST, SOAP, Jira, JUnit, Jenkins, Angular.
• Enjoy teamwork and bring a high level of initiative.
• Good knowledge of German and English.
