In Short

  • We are seeking a highly motivated, well-connected Director of Prime Brokerage Sales.
  • Lead Alpaca’s expansion across professional and institutional trading segments.
  • Responsible for building and scaling Alpaca’s institutional revenue base.
  • Drive adoption of our API brokerage, clearing, and global multi-asset infrastructure.
  • Develop new channels through strategic partnerships, events, and outreach.
  • High-impact, quota-carrying role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a proven book of business or deep relationships in trading.
  • Engage with C-level executives and fund managers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine strategy.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and performance insights.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of institutional or professional trading sales experience.
  • Strong relationships within hedge funds and proprietary trading groups.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Strong understanding of trading workflows and APIs.
  • Confident communicator capable of engaging decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in early-stage environments.
  • Series 7 or relevant local securities license.
