Accounts Payable Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for the efficient and accurate execution of the full accounts payable cycle. This role oversees the AP team and is critical for managing high-volume, multi-entity transactions across our network of veterinary clinics. The Manager will ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements and drives continuous process improvements and system efficiencies across all consolidated entities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. The AP Manager reports to the Controller of Finance.

• Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team.
• Manage daily AP workflow and performance metrics.
• Direct high-volume payment processes.

• Manage month-end closing activities for Accounts Payable.

• Utilize strong Excel and ERP system skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Veterinary AP management experience preferred.
• Ability to manage high-volume AP environments.
• Exceptional system skills and ERP experience.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Positive attitude and strong people skills.
