Project Coordinator, Research & Development - Remote

Overview

The Project Coordinator for Research & Development (R&D) is a dynamic and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of Sabin’s Vaccine R&D programs as well as the day-to-day operations of the Program Management Office.

In Short

• Support Project Managers in coordinating day-to-day activities and tracking progress of vaccine development programs.
• Partner with Sabin staff to plan and monitor activities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate across teams and programs to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
• Coordinate the preparation, tracking, review, and filing of deliverables.
• Support meeting execution, including scheduling and tracking action items.
• Assist in creating and maintaining project timelines using project management tools.
• Assess risks to programs and communicate these to Project Managers.
• Maintain up to date project files and ensure document control.
• Assist in developing and improving project management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
• Proficiency in project management principles and associated software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
