Research and Development Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Research & Development (R&D) Coordinator will provide administrative support to the R&D team, completing tasks such as data entry, formula reviews, ingredient assessments, and R&D inventory replenishment.

In Short

• Assist in planning and oversight of projects and initiatives.
• Conduct initial ingredient assessments.
• Collaborate with Quality to understand consumer complaint patterns.
• Manage R&D-related quality concern resolutions.
• Prepare product specifications and finalize formulas.
• Support coordination of procurement and competitive samples.
• Lead raw material and finished goods testing program.
• Coordinate inventory replenishment for the R&D team.
• Organize sensory and shelf-life studies.
• Review labels and nutrition fact panels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in R&D or Food Science.
• Prior experience in data entry or administrative tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• 10% travel required.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite and professional platforms.
• Genuine passion for improving childhood nutrition.
• Must reside in the United States.
