Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer will perform on-site life extensions, repairs, and inspections for customers, requiring both electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.

In Short

• Conduct on-site service activities including machining, NDT, and generator diagnostics.
• Develop conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline.
• Collaborate with team members and customers to resolve issues.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE.
• Document and execute service programs effectively.
• Travel to service sites as required.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications for documentation.
• Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Have 2 to 5 years of service experience.
