Senior Protection and Control Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Protection & Control (P&C) Engineer is responsible for reviewing designs for T&D substations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, and mentoring the secondary design team while representing GE in external committees.

In Short

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE License in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, or California.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in system protection schemes.
• Experience in design reviews and technical mentoring.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Extensive experience in protective relaying coordination.
• Good understanding of power system components.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
• Organized, passionate, and goal-oriented.
• Member of Standards Committee like IEEE is a plus.
