Field Service Engineer - Drives and EMS - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer - Drives at GE Vernova's Power Conversion & Storage business will perform a wide range of commissioning and service tasks, ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of GE drive systems while providing technical support and customer satisfaction.

• Perform troubleshooting at customer sites to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Develop documentation for commissioning and maintenance procedures.
• Execute installation and commissioning of GE Drives and EMS systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of field service or commissioning experience.
• Ability to travel 85% of the time on short notice.
• Experience with GE Drive systems and Energy Management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work in construction-type environments and follow safety guidelines.
• Experience with troubleshooting and technical support.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and commissioning tasks.
