Overview

Aker Systems is seeking a QA Engineer to join a technical team responsible for delivering key test activities in a highly secure enterprise data platform environment.

• Experience in data-centric environments is essential.
• UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance required.

Requirements

• Extensive testing experience in data-centric environments.
• Experience with data migration, data pipelines (ETL), and streaming.
• Back-end testing experience, particularly with Linux.
• Understanding of Kafka and Docker from a QA perspective.
• Experience with Jira and Maven.
• Familiarity with BDD and TDD methodologies.
• Automation testing experience using tools like Fitnesse, Selenium, and Soap UI.
• Experience in developing custom regression test suites.
• Experience in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to create detailed test plans and strategies.
