In Short

• Lead infrastructure engineering by overseeing architecture, security, and development of scalable and secure infrastructure for internal engineering teams.
• Partner with engineering teams to analyze their infrastructure needs and develop tailored, intrusion-resistant solutions.
• Improve the observability of infrastructure to ensure high reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and restore services quickly.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with security and data protection regulations.
• Recommend upgrades, monitor/alert to stay ahead of problems, address root causes to avoid repeat incidents.
• Mentor junior infrastructure engineers.
• Utilize Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, Public Cloud, Azure, AWS, GCP, InfoSec, SCRUM/Kanban, CI/CD, Cloud services, Jenkins, Docker, Golang, Ruby, Jira, Github.
• Position may include a telecommuting benefit from anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

• At least a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Three (3) years of experience as a software engineer (any title), including developing services on public cloud and/or cloud foundations and using AWS, CI/CD, GCP, Terraform, Python, Ruby, Go, and Jenkins.
• Must include at least two (2) years developing foundational tooling including Terraform pipelines; engaging in Continuous Deployment for AWS cloud; developing APIs and provisioning tools; and using Kubernetes and Cloud Formation.
