Overview

The ML Platform team is on a mission to build the core infrastructure that powers Affirm's intelligence. Affirm uses machine learning to assess and approve each BNPL transaction.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems.
• Experience with Python or Kotlin.
• Track record of developing highly available distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with real-time ML infrastructure.
• Experience with offline environments for data analysis.
• Ability to deliver major features and system components.
• Strong growth and impact trajectory.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and system architecture.
• Strong collaboration skills with global teams.
