Staff Software Engineer, Backend (Fraud Decisioning) - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Fraud Decisioning Engineering team, you’ll build tools and systems that empower Affirm fraud fighting capabilities, work with cross-functional teams to adopt and monitor those and use analytics and data driven decisions to further improve the performance and quality of fraud deciders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing and developing backend systems.
• Experience with languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Track record of developing highly available distributed systems.
• Comfortable with both low-level language idioms and large system architecture.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
