Overview

Aeon is seeking an analytical and detailed person to join our Compliance Team. This position will perform compliance functions on various multi-family tax credit and federally subsidized properties, ensuring adherence to housing programs.

• Perform compliance functions for multi-family tax credit and federally subsidized properties.
• Review tenant certifications and ensure eligibility.
• Conduct compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Assist in lease-up activities and annual recertifications.
• Prepare tax credit file audits and inspections.
• Support site teams and provide training as needed.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and policies.
• Maintain accurate compliance-related data.
• Engage in program and policy development.
• Work collaboratively with staff and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in affordable housing or compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of housing programs and HUD requirements.
• Experience with audit preparation and regulatory reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Adobe, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to lift up to 10lbs and perform property inspections.
