Overview

We are seeking an administrative assistant to work part time (20 hours) during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm) with in-person attendance (at least 3 days). The candidate will provide clerical, secretarial, billing, and general office support for attorneys, the legal operations manager, and legal staff.

In Short

  • Prepare formal correspondence and communicate via email or telephone.
  • Compile data and enter information into databases.
  • Input invoices to billing systems and process forms.
  • Assemble, organize, and file documents.
  • Research information and gather materials.
  • Coordinate appointments and arrange meetings.
  • Sort and distribute mail and create Fed-Ex labels.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to act autonomously.
  • Preserve confidentiality.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm.
  • Knowledge of general computer and office equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with law firms preferred.
