Quality Assurance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for reviewing delivery/shipping tickets and on-site orders to ensure compliance with accreditation and payer regulations prior to confirming delivery tickets in the billing system.

In Short

• Develop and maintain knowledge of current HME products and services.
• Accurately enter patient notes and updates into records.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify delivery addresses and instructions for all orders.
• Identify trends to improve efficiency and create cost savings.
• Process and submit documentation and orders accurately.
• Complete insurance verification for patient eligibility.
• Navigate multiple online EMR systems for documentation.
• Communicate trends with leadership regarding insurance companies.
• Assist with performance improvement programs related to billing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in healthcare administrative or customer service roles.
• Two years of experience required for senior level positions.
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME or similar environment is preferred.
