Quality Assurance Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at WhiteTech, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our cutting-edge payment solutions. Your efforts in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs, along with your active involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our products.

In Short

• Analyze requirements and write detailed test cases.
• Reproduce problems and describe them in detailed bug reports.
• Communicate issues to project managers or senior specialists and coordinate efforts until issues are resolved.
• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, integration and requirements testing.
• Conduct manual testing including: Web(DevTool), API(Postman), backend.
• Perform calculations for simple cases using math, testing various payment methods and checkout.
• Work with databases and SQL.
• Track all project corrections.
• Collaborate closely with development, design, and product management teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Propose enhancements for tested features based on analytical insights.

Requirements

• Web and API testing experience: 1.5 years or more.
• Experience working with Postman, DevTool.
• Ability to make simple SQL queries.
• Experience with payment systems and payment methods.
• Experience in writing detailed test cases and working with any TMT.
• Confident knowledge and practice of using test design techniques.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology including Scrum and Kanban.
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, client-server architecture.
• Ability to effectively create and manage test documentation.
• Proven analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and product orientation.
• Strong communication skills and intermediate level of English.
• Experience in analyzing the interaction of tested features with other system components.
• A proactive and achievement-oriented approach to work.
