Overview

The Senior Legal Counsel at Achievers provides general legal support across various business areas, focusing on commercial legal matters to assist the Revenue team in navigating complex legal landscapes.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements and contracts.
• Manage and maintain a repository of commercial contracts.
• Conduct legal research on emerging issues and regulations.
• Negotiate new customer deals and manage existing customer legal requests.
• Support RFP responses and documentation requests.
• Maintain and update legal templates for efficiency.
• Manage the legal helpdesk queue for timely responses.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in private practice or in-house.
• J.D. or LL.B. degree with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership in a State Bar in the USA or Provincial Bar in Canada.
• Knowledge of privacy law and experience with DPAs.
• Experience with SaaS and subscription agreements preferred.
• Track record of managing and negotiating complex contracts.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
