KOHO is seeking a motivated attorney to support a range of legal areas, focusing on commercial work, privacy law, product development, and regulatory matters to help the company grow.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Support product and partnerships teams on strategic partnerships.
• Develop standards for contract templates and legal workflows.
• Advise on laws relevant to financial services and consumer protection.
• Manage privacy law matters and compliance policies.
• Review marketing collateral and customer communications.
• 6+ years of post-call experience as a lawyer in Canada.
• Proactive, organized, and able to operate in ambiguity.
• Experience in tech procurement and fintech is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and growth mindset.

Requirements

• 6+ years of post-call experience as a lawyer practicing in Canada.
• Contract negotiation and drafting skills.
• Familiarity with privacy law and financial services regulation.
• Proactive and organized with a strong work ethic.
• Fast learner who can handle ambiguity.
