Overview

The Legal Counsel at Achievers provides general legal support across the business with a focus on commercial legal matters, assisting in the execution of legal strategies and engaging in various transactional matters.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements.
• Maintain and manage customer contracts repository.
• Conduct legal research on emerging issues.
• Negotiate new customer deals and manage RFx responses.
• Support customer questionnaire and audit requests.
• Maintain and update legal templates.
• Manage the legal helpdesk queue.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• J.D. or LL.B. degree.
• Active State Bar membership in the USA or Provincial Bar in Canada.
• Knowledge of privacy law and experience negotiating DPAs.
• Experience with SaaS and subscription agreements.
• Track record of managing complex contracts.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
