ApartmentIQ is a profitable, growth-stage company building industry-leading martech and data SaaS products for the rentals industry. We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to help us build robust, scalable, and innovative solutions for our data-driven initiatives.

• Lead a small team of skilled engineers to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines.

• Anticipate and resolve technical issues that may inhibit project goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup.
• Proven track record of leading engineers to deliver projects.
• Organized and detail-oriented with project management experience.
• Experience with web data collection using parsing and scraper tools.
• Experience building and scaling batch-style data ingestion systems.
• Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow and dbt.
• Experience using AWS services.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Ruby on Rails, or similar languages.
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
