Overview

The Mid-Market Account Executive is responsible for selling Abnormal security solutions to defined territories, focusing on generating new business opportunities and managing customer relationships to achieve sales targets.

In Short

  • Sell Abnormal security solutions to achieve annual recurring revenue quotas.
  • Manage Mid Market accounts from initial conversations to contract signing.
  • Prospect new business opportunities to build a pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success for renewals and expansion sales.
  • Act as a voice for the customer with internal teams.
  • Conduct discovery calls to assess prospect needs.
  • Negotiate deal terms with prospects.
  • Document deal progress in Salesforce.
  • Forecast expected revenue accurately.
  • Work with internal teams to prioritize product development based on customer feedback.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, particularly in Mid Market accounts.
  • Experience in negotiating with mid-large organizations.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Technical competency in security, email, cloud, and AI.
  • Experience selling subscription software/SaaS.
  • Startup experience preferred.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
