Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer (Data Platform) at Allergan Aesthetics, you will work with various teams to create and maintain a high-performing data platform that meets the organization's data needs.

In Short

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain a Data Platform.
• Drive platform architecture decisions and lead design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to build data products.
• Champion code quality and help make strategic architecture decisions.
• Implement tools to ensure data quality and enforce governance policies.
• Develop APIs and Microservices for data integration.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering with production-grade pipelines.
• Experience with data processing, storage, and governance tools.
• Strong SQL and either Python or Typescript skills.
• Knowledge of data platform development and warehousing.
• Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Strong communication skills.
