As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-performance data infrastructure that supports millions of events daily. You will work on both batch and streaming data pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights for internal teams and external partners. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize data flow, implement robust ETL/ELT patterns, and maintain the architecture of a modern data lakehouse. You will leverage cloud-native tools and open-source technologies to ensure reliability, scalability, and observability of the platform. This position offers the opportunity to solve complex challenges in a distributed, fully remote environment while contributing to the evolution of enterprise-grade data solutions.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain forward and reverse ETL patterns to deliver data to stakeholders efficiently.
• Develop scalable transformation layers that ensure repeatable, reliable integrations with BI tools and data consumers.
• Expand and maintain the company’s Data Lakehouse architecture for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
• Operate and monitor production data pipelines, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and data cataloging systems to ensure data quality and observability.
