Overview

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Welltech, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our data infrastructure to ensure seamless experiences for our customers and drive business growth.

In Short

• Participate in project architecture and design creation, code review, CI/CD.
• Develop, optimize and maintain ETL/ELT processes to provide data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with data analysis and product development teams for efficient data pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data processing systems.
• Create Proof of Concepts and perform benchmarks.
• Integrate and deliver data across various platforms.
• Ensure automation using Python and SQL.
• Design and create APIs.
• Administer and optimize AWS Redshift.
• Work on database administration and data transformation tasks.

Requirements

• Proven expertise as a Data engineer or Python developer.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Redshift, S3, Lambda, Glue).
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, particularly GitLab CI.
• Understanding of queueing mechanisms.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, DataDog).
• Familiarity with DWH technologies like Snowflake.
• Experience with PySpark is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to ETL.
• Experience with database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Ability to create design solutions and large-scale architecture.
