Senior Data Engineer (Data Platform) - Remote

Overview

This position is designed for a highly skilled data engineering professional who will lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and platforms, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization’s data infrastructure while enabling analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.

In Short

• Own and maintain the modern data platform, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability across systems.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake, dbt transformations, data ingestion pipelines, and Tableau analytics layers.
• Build data pipelines and APIs to connect across data systems and unlock new business capabilities.
• Implement data engineering best practices, including CI/CD workflows, testing, and documentation.
• Design and maintain scalable dbt models and ELT pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.
• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to deliver trusted, business-ready data sets.
• Reduce complexity and optimize storage and consumption costs.
• Design and maintain dashboards, including Tableau administrative management.
• Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to translate business requirements into engineering solutions.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in platform architecture, data processes, and pipeline performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of data platforms and architecture.
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Familiarity with Tableau and data visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
