In Short

• Own Welltech's global IP portfolio, including trademarks, copyright, trade secrets, and patents.
• Serve as first responder on IP disputes and infringement matters.
• Conduct IP clearance reviews for new product features and marketing campaigns.
• Advise on copyright protection for proprietary content.
• Serve as subject matter expert on emerging AI regulation.
• Lead legal reviews for AI-powered product features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed legal review into workflows.
• Manage outside IP counsel relationships efficiently.
• Track and translate regulatory developments into actionable guidance.
• Support due diligence on third-party AI vendors.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in IP and/or technology law.
• Deep knowledge of EU and US IP frameworks.
• Experience advising on AI-related legal issues.
• Track record of managing IP disputes and litigation risk.
• Experience in a digital consumer product company.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent English; additional European language is advantageous.
