Overview

The Clinical Operations Program Director is responsible for connecting science and operations to bring clinical studies to life through the execution of clinical research programs.

In Short

• Integral member of the Pipeline Commercialization Model’s Integrated Evidence Strategy Team.
• Develops the clinical operational strategy and executes clinical studies/programs.
• Responsible for programmatic evaluation of risks and mitigations.
• Interacts with and influences all levels of management.
• Key contributor to the portfolio planning process.
• Reviews and provides clinical operations content to regulatory documents.
• Manages overall external budget across portfolio.
• Leads cross-functional innovation and process improvement initiatives.
• Develops, manages, and mentors clinical operations staff.
• Ensures compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nursing or scientific field.
• 12+ years of Pharma-related/clinical research experience.
• 10 years in clinical research with a focus on leadership competencies.
• Experience in risk management and strategic execution.
• Good communication skills.
• Successful coaching and mentoring experience.
• Subject matter expert in standard business procedures.
• Experience in study initiation through completion.
