Overview

The Director, Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) Business Lead will develop and deploy educational strategies to support AbbVie's mission of fostering diversity and inclusion within the organization.

In Short

• Drive strategy development and implementation for EEDI priorities.
• Design and communicate an innovative EEDI Enterprise Education Strategy.
• Assess and improve existing EEDI educational curriculum.
• Engage and manage vendors for EEDI educational materials.
• Consult with functional leads to deliver leadership solutions.
• Embed EEDI education within existing frameworks.
• Develop EEDI Education team members.
• Act as an ambassador for the EEDI organization.
• Research best practices in diversity initiatives.
• Translate trends into innovative practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• 5+ years managing teams.
• Broad multi-stakeholder experience.
• Experience in global and matrix organizations.
• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Strong organizational and detail orientation.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage equitably and inclusively.
