Data Protection Office Operations Lead - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Crown Jewel Operations, maintains accountability for a positive customer experience and driving value with a strategic mindset while protecting AbbVie's most confidential data assets. This role will be accountable for providing governance and oversight for Crown Jewel Office and Cybersecurity activities, while delivering business value by maximizing investment in securing our Crown Jewels.

In Short

• Responsible for overall operations, governance and optimization of Crown Jewel Office processes.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with functional counterparts.
• Lead assurance activities to test and ensure controls protecting Crown Jewel data.
• Provide regular reporting to Sr. Leadership on the health and status of Crown Jewel Assets.
• Support the Data Protection Governance Committee by tracking action items.
• Responsible for operational and reporting requirements for internal tools and dashboards.
• Monitor execution of Crown Jewel processes and implement improvements.
• Maintain accurate information around Crown Jewel data assets, suppliers and applications.
• Ensure compliance with AbbVie processes across all Crown Jewel applications.
• Support the mission of the Crown Jewels Office to safeguard vital digital data assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience or relevant experience in lieu of degree in IT and/or Information Security.
• Experience managing managed service provider outcomes.
• 5+ years of experience in utilizing ITIL Framework.
• Proven experience identifying strategies for risk mitigation.
• CISSP preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong problem resolution skills in complex environments.
• Experience working with senior leaders and strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
