Overview

The Area Sales Director will direct the sales strategy, planning, and execution for a field-based team of Regional Directors in the Migraine space, driving sales targets and developing AbbVie’s image as a market leader.

Requirements

• 10+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotech.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in physician/account-based selling and managed healthcare.
• Ability to set vision and strategy.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• U.S. Commercial experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholders.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.
