As a Utility Owners Solutions Engineer at 4M Analytics, you’ll play a critical dual-role across both pre‑sales and post‑sales engagements, ensuring utility owners experience value quickly and continuously.

In Short

• Lead technical discovery and demos for utility owners.
• Drive pilot execution and define success criteria.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor during procurement and compliance reviews.
• Onboard and enable new utility clients.
• Serve as the voice of the field for product improvements.
• Ensure continuity from pre-sale to post-sale engagements.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.
• Support major utility owner organizations across the U.S.
• Translate complex workflows into compelling narratives.
• Work with electric, natural gas, and telecom utilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar role.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
• Background in utility engineering or GIS/asset management software preferred.
• Experience with product demos and technical proofs-of-concept.
• Ability to travel occasionally to meet clients onsite.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
