In Short

• Support of client’s Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including response to escalations from the monitoring team.
• Communicate ticket status information to team members and escalate cases as necessary.
• Interact with clients to identify IT issues and troubleshoot expediently.
• Install, configure, and administer client systems in Azure.
• Configuration and tuning of cloud-based tools.
• Execute monthly maintenance of the Azure infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation for client environments.
• Promote best practices to enhance organizational processes.
• Participate in discussions with clients to review outstanding issues.
• Provide consultation and monthly reports regarding client’s cloud-based infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud servers and services or equivalent sys admin experience.
• Experience in a 24x7 managed services environment.
• Experience with ITIL processes and ITSM systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
• Experience developing CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform templates.
• Experience with Azure native services.
• Understanding of sys admin concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
