Sales Development Representative - Remote

Overview

The Inside Sales, Sales Development Representative is responsible for lead generation and qualification for all platforms, Chromium, Visium and Xenium, across new and existing academic, government and medical center research institutions as well as biotech/pharma and service providers. This is a remote position.

In Short

• Develop and execute independent lead generation strategies.
• Responsible for lead generation and qualification for all platforms.
• Track, report on, and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
• Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional departments.
• Support the broader Commercial organization to improve sales cycle time.
• Update the CRM system to reflect accurate opportunities and pipeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field; equivalent industry experience.
• 0-1+ years experience in inside sales or business development.
• Adept at identifying ideal customer profiles.
• Skilled at uncovering customer needs and pain points.
• Proficiency in following established sales methodologies.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Outstanding relationship building and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Fluency in English; additional languages highly desirable.
